Bio's
Faster than a receding mullet, more powerful than a midlife crisis… Formed in 2005 Squidlick has been quietly building a rabid fan base with their party time live shows and unusual approach to music. On the forefront of the Regressive Aggressive music scene Squidlick combines punk sensibilities and its do it yourself attitude with a retro approach to songwriting and performing.
Started way back during the hair band and flannel days, cousins Rik (bass guitar) and Montoya (unleaded guitar) started writing songs and playing local bars until life happened. After years of family rearing and dead end jobs, the cousins decided to relive their past rock star glory. Nillz was soon added on vocals and found the three of them had a great repertoire writing music. After scores of songs written and the addition of The Diz (the worlds unofficial loudest drummer) Squidlick recorded it’s soon to be released (September 2011) self-titled album and the rest is soon to be history.
